5K Endurance: a 6-week treadmill plan to run 30 minutes
5K Endurance is for the point where you can run, just not for very long yet. It lengthens your runs week by week, adds a few short one-minute efforts to build strength, and finishes with a continuous 30-minute run, enough for most people to cover 5K.

Tips for 5K Endurance
- Run the steady sections slower than you think you need to. Endurance comes from time on your feet.
- During the harder one-minute efforts, raise the speed by about 1 km/h, then return to your normal pace.
- The final week has two sessions, so the 30-minute run comes on fresh legs.
